Working with Lee has been inspirational on so many levels. The help through coaching that you’ve given me to discover what the disconnect was in my life was really quite transformational. The online course enabled me to identify my values and what drives me. Identifying “flow” helped me realise what was out of balance in certain aspects of my life.
I started the process feeling a little lost but not really knowing
what was missing. The result has been that I was able to identify
what was lacking: my sense of me. And with Lee's help I found myself again and I really am flourishing.
The Flourish Project, in tandem with three consultations with Lee proved to be the balm to my confusion. It helped me to realise firstly what was important to me and then to recognize where my life was out of tune with those values. Along the way I shifted goals that were overwhelmingly difficult, rearranged priorities and reset targets.
Throughout the experience Lee was unfailingly supportive, non-judgemental and fun to be in contact with. It was like finding a really wise new friend with whom I had tons in common but she was detached enough to hit me with the reality stick when needed. In addition the support of fellow-flourishers on facebook and our regular “chats” were fantastic.
Each module builds on the last, gently leading you through a path of self-discovery and planning:
We’ll replace negative thoughts and beliefs with those that help you thrive: gratitude, optimism, mindfulness and kindness. Once you understand the theory, there are practical (and fun!) exercises and experiments to guide you towards a much more positive mindset.
Tune into your values and chill out
Until we know what matters most to us, we move through life without a ‘rudder’. When our top values are pinpointed, everything is easier: our decisions, the dance of ‘work’ and ‘life’, where and how we spend our time, and who we spend it with… Being clear on this is key to flourishing.
Go ahead and shine
So much of our frustration comes from expending energy in the areas that are hard for us. Playing to our strengths (once we understand what they are) propels us forward so we’re leaping those obstacles now, instead of tripping over them. The trick is in the alignment of values and strengths. That’s the sweet spot, and this module helps you find it.
Getting the best out of your relationships
If only we’d been born with a communication manual! Navigating relationships with those we love or work with or mix with socially can be challenging. We can only control our own responses to the people around us, and this module encourages positive interaction through proven and practical theories of interpersonal communication.
Your awesome life
Shift from a place of responding passively to what happens in your life, to a place of creation and direction. The activities in this module are designed to help you choose how you ideally want things to be and what you’d love to change.
Your plan to flourish
Having clarified the changes you wish to make, it’s time to get serious about achieving them. This module guides you through goal-setting tools that work, scheduling and prioritising the good stuff! Finally, you’ll be putting first the aspects of your life that will really make a difference.
The Flourish Project is delivered over 10 emails and each module includes reflection worksheets, practical tasks and further reading. The content is dished to you in easily-digestible chunks and the tasks are engaging, thought-provoking (and fun!)
You will be invited to join a supportive community of women who have done the course or are working alongside you. The group is a great place to share your learnings and access support to overcome your roadblocks.
There’s a regular Q&A chat hour in the Facebook group. Ask away, listen to others’ questions and soak up and act upon the suggestions.
At the conclusion of the six weeks you will receive an e-Book with a copy of all the content and worksheets. (Most people like to revisit it later on, as a reminder of the mindset approaches and strategies that continue to apply as our life path evolves.) You can continue to hang out and gain inspiration in the community group for as long as you choose.
